About
L'Chaims

L'Chaims Restaurant & Kosher Catering Ltd has been the heart of kosher dining in Glasgow for many years. Founded with a simple but powerful vision — to provide the Jewish community with a restaurant where quality, authenticity, and strict kashrus go hand in hand — we have grown to become one of Scotland's most respected kosher establishments.

The name "L'Chaims" — meaning "To Life!" in Hebrew — reflects our deep conviction that food is about more than sustenance. It is about community, celebration, memory, and love. From the first bowl of chicken soup to the final glass of kosher wine, every experience at L'Chaims is crafted with care.

We hold full Glatt Kosher certification and operate under the continuous supervision of the Glasgow Beth Din, ensuring that every dish — whether served in our restaurant or catered off-site — meets the highest standards of kashrus.

With over 15 years in kosher event management, Rachel has coordinated hundreds of weddings, Bar Mitzvahs, and community events across Scotland.

Mashgiach (Kashrut Supervisor)
Appointed by the Glasgow Beth Din, Rabbi Klein oversees all aspects of kashrus in our kitchen, ensuring the highest glatt standards at all times.
